Hearing Care Practitioner

Joseph Philactos is a Nationally Board Certified Hearing Instrument Specialist who began his healthcare career in 2010 after a successful business career. Inspired by how hearing loss impacted his nursing patients, he became a Hearing Instrument Specialist in 2012. As a resident of Babcock Ranch, Joseph founded Hear Florida in 2025 to bring personalized, high-quality hearing care directly to the community he calls home. Over the years, he has earned multiple awards for excellence in hearing care and is passionate about helping people reconnect through better hearing and improve their quality of life. Outside the office, Joseph enjoys long walks, biking, swimming, and spending time with his wife, three children, grandchildren, and family dog, Lincoln.
